Christmas Light Installation in Mission and the Fraser Valley
Every December, the best-looking houses on the street are the ones with clean, even lines of light along the roofline — and every December, getting them there means a ladder on cold ground, strings that come out of storage tangled, and clips that never quite sit straight. LTE installs Christmas lights for homes and businesses in Mission and across the Fraser Valley, so your property gets the finished look without you spending a weekend on a ladder.
You choose the look — a classic warm white roofline like the photo on this page, or a colour option — and we measure, hang, and straighten the lines so they sit neat and even from the street. Installs run from October to December, for homes and businesses up to 3 storeys. It is the finishing service for a property that is already looked after: the same crew that washes your house, tidies your yard, and clears your snow can put your lights up for the season.
- Roofline installation: the roofline, peaks, and eaves agreed in your quote, hung in clean, straight lines and tested before we leave.
- Windows, doors, and entry: lights fitted around windows, doors, and the entry where that is part of the agreed design.
- Extras available: colour options beyond warm white, wreaths, and timers can be added to your design — ticked on your quote so the price covers exactly what is included.
- Fix-up visits: if a section of lights goes out during the season, a fix-up visit can be arranged to put it right.
- Your lights, installed for you: we install the lights you supply. If you do not have lights, or need more, we can get them for you — your quote states which applies before any work starts. You store your own lights after takedown; if our lights are used, we store them.
- Tested before we leave: every string is checked once it is up, so the house you see on the first night is the finished job, not a first draft.

- Homeowners who want the finished, even look without climbing a ladder in December
- Anyone for whom ladder work is a safety or mobility concern
- Busy families who would rather spend December weekends on anything else
- Landlords and sellers who want a property that looks cared for over the holidays
- Businesses: storefronts and business properties that want a clean, lit roofline for the holiday season — the service covers residential and commercial properties, up to 3 storeys.
- Request a quote. Tell us the property and the look you want, and whether you are supplying the lights or would like us to get them for you. We measure the roofline, and the job is priced per linear foot of roofline lit — $8–12 per linear foot when we supply the lights, $4–6 when you supply them — with a $250 minimum.
- Approve the design and price. Your quote sets out exactly what is being hung, where, and what it costs including GST + PST, before you commit to anything. A deposit of half the estimate holds your install spot once you approve the quote.
- We install. Installs run from October to December. We hang the lights on the date agreed in your quote, test every line, and leave the property tidy.
- Takedown after the season. Takedown runs in January and February and can be added to your install price when you book — say the word at install time and it is already handled. You store your own lights after takedown; if our lights are used, we store them.

Book in the fall. Installs run from October to December, install spots are limited each season, and properties booked early get the widest choice of install dates. If LTE is already coming to your property for a fall cleanup or to set up a snow removal contract, ask about adding lights to the same visit window.
Do you use my lights or supply them?
We install the lights you supply — that is the standard. If you do not have lights, or need more than you have, we can get them for you. Your quote will state which applies to your property before any work starts.
How much does it cost?
Installation is priced per linear foot of roofline lit: $8–12 per linear foot when we supply the lights, or $4–6 per linear foot when you supply your own, with a $250 minimum. Your total depends on how many linear feet are being lit, the height and access, and any extras you add, so every job is quoted from a measurement of your property. Your quote shows the full price including GST + PST before you commit, so there are no surprises after the lights are up. A deposit of half the estimate holds your install spot once you approve the quote.
Is takedown included?
Takedown can be added to your install price — just say so when you book, and it is scheduled when your install is booked. Takedown runs in January and February. After takedown, you store your own lights; if our lights are used, we store them.
When do you install?
Installs run from October to December, and takedown runs in January and February. Booking in the fall is recommended — install spots fill before December.
What colours and styles can I choose?
Warm white along the roofline is the classic look shown on this page, and colour options are available if you want a different look. Wreaths and timers can also be added — your quote will list exactly which extras are included in your price.
What if a section of lights goes out during the season?
Get in touch and a fix-up visit can be arranged to put it right.Do you install on commercial properties?
Yes — we install for residential and commercial properties, including storefronts and business rooflines, across Mission and the Fraser Valley, up to a maximum height of 3 storeys. Is there a minimum charge, and when do you work?
Yes — the same rules as LTE's other services: a $250 minimum, and hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
